What is the equivalent of commodity trading Advisor (CTA) in Canada ?
or is CTA internationally accepted? I want to pool money from Asia, and Canada.
Canada does not have a central regulatory authority. Each province regulates the securities and commodities businesses. Ontario, naturally, has the largest regulator.
Looking at Ontario, it appears that there is a special registration for those who are currently members of the NFA and registered with the CFTC. I attach the links.
A quick look makes me recommend that you contact a lawyer. Good luck!
