Should we ditch gold as highest trading commodity ?
Posted by admin
Why do we use it ? It can’t do anything , yet it runs the world .
The value of a thing is what we place on it in our mind. Gold is substance, so is dirt! Think about it! Then ask your-self what is most valued to YOU!

Well, the question is faulty from its premise. Gold is not the highest trading commodity. Platinum (Pt) is selling for about $1300/oz troy and Gold (Au) is on $718/oz Troy.
Both metals have very important uses. Gold is used in the electronics, fuel cells and other goods. Pt has many industrial uses.
