“economical” Foreign exchange education intended for the new investor?

Posted by admin

Are you a definite “novice” when it comes to Forex?

Are you a tiny bit overwhelmed because of all the tips out there

which promises to get heaps of cash in your own pockets overnight?

Do people get a sneaking suspicion that certain Foreign exchange brokers are usually

lying through their teeth and basically out to “screw” you so they

will be able to add an additional Mercedes or BMW to their expensive car collection?

Do you really feel unable to generate any progress towards your current aspiration of

quitting your work for the reason that absolutely no matter how bad you need it, you

simply won’t be able to afford to pay for $2,000 or more for Fx guidance?

Halt!

I appreciate just how you really feel, and that is the reason I’m delighted I found

this very good, simple, and “no B.S.” video tutorial presentation –

–> It leads you to a Ton of “dirt cheap” Foreign exchange training that

will give a new trader the upper hand when dealing with brokers… & a

big advantage over many the other discouraged & clueless “newbies” out

there.

So, sit back, relax, & see if you relate to this “Forex tale”
here:

(Make certain you watch the whole thing, because I believe you will be

“floored” by what is exposed at the end.)

Good Trading,

Where is a good place to learn commodity futures trading?

Where’s a good place, for beginners, to learn commodity futures trading?

There are a bunch of sites that can teach you how to trade. The most important thing to remember is that trading can be risky. The nice thing about trading stocks, commodities, etc. is you can practice on paper first before you trade with real money. Paper trading may help you to gain some confidence in your ability to trade but remember to be realistic and honest with yourself when logging your trades. Paper trading will not account for thin market conditions or missed fills so remember to take that into consideration as well. I like chart patterns because there is no leg time in your signals.

Here is a list of sites that may help you out:

Some exchange sites:

This is a good site with lots of videos and weekly updates:

What are the margin requirements for commodity trading?

Posted by admin

A person at Scottrade told me that you must have 1 million dollars in a margin account to trade commodities. Was he blowing smoke somewhere, or is this correct?
What would be a good contact point to check this out for real? Who would you call?

He’s blowing smoke big time.

Most traders start with $10,000.

Margin is determined by the contract you want to trade.

Oil margin currently is around $10,000 per contract.

Corn is around 3,000.

If you really want to learn how to trade commodities from a 35 year veteran I suggest you go to http://www.ChartingYourFutures.com

The guy know what he’s talking about and trades commodities the way they should be traded. (so you can sleep at night)

How commodity trading works? How do i trade online?

Posted by admin

How commodity trading works[If possible please give me answer specific to india]? How do i trade online?
and whether only margin trading is possible in commodities or cash trading is also possible online?

You’re insane. Buy commodities as a diversifier and inflation hedge only, and as part of a larger diversifed portfolio. They should make up no more than 5-10% of your portfolio, depending on your personal risk tolerance. They are VERY volatile, so keep that in mind. The best way to do it is through a diversifed commodities fund, like the DWS Scudder Commodity Securities Fund.

Hope this helps!

where I can get information of commodity trading?

I am new to commodity trading and I likers to know where i can get more informatin and news on this

I wrote about investing in commodities recently — http://www.moolanomy.com/1090/investing-in-commodities/

In short, I believe adding about 5% of commodities to your overall portfolio can enhance your portfolio’s long-term rate of return and reduce risk. However, commodities have much greater volatility and the price can be depressed for an extended period of time — so this require great amount of discipline.

As far as investment vehicle, I’d recommend ETF that’s based on one of the two commodity indices: S&P GSCI or DJ-AIGCI. I don’t think investing in specific commodities is a good idea.

What is the equivalent of Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) in Canada ?

What is the equivalent of commodity trading Advisor (CTA) in Canada ?

or is CTA internationally accepted? I want to pool money from Asia, and Canada.

Canada does not have a central regulatory authority. Each province regulates the securities and commodities businesses. Ontario, naturally, has the largest regulator.

Looking at Ontario, it appears that there is a special registration for those who are currently members of the NFA and registered with the CFTC. I attach the links.

A quick look makes me recommend that you contact a lawyer. Good luck!
